Why not try something new today?
This collection is for you to bring out your sense of adventure and indulge in new flavours while discovering new varieties. The pack include three unique wines: Pinot Meunier, Cinsault and a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Gris (skin contact).
1. 2021 Moorak Pinot Meunier
Pinot Meunier is one of the three main grapes allowed in the production of Champagne (you know the two). This superstar of Champagne is grown in the soils of Oakbank in Adelaide Hills, bringing the vivacity of floral notes, ripe cherry, strawberry and raspberry sorbet, with a freshness on the palate and intense fruit flavours. Chill it slightly, find a friend to share it with, and you have everything you need to enjoy the sunshine.
2. 2021 Just Enough Wines "No Surprises" Cinsault
Cinsault is an important grape in Languedoc-Roussillon and is also often blended with other grapes to make rose wines in Provence and red wines in Southern Rhone, in France. The variety adapts well to hot and dry conditions, which is why the Barossa climate is perfect for growing quality grapes to make this wine. The wine displays fragrant and elegant floral and fruity notes, such as violet, cranberry and red plum, with bright acidity and gentle, juicy tannins.
3. 2021 Defially "Little Red Lights” Cabernet Sauvignon Pinot Gris (skin contact)
This wine is an uncommon blend of two more common varieties, sourced from Faraday, Victoria. The cooler climate of Victoria allows the Cabernet Sauvignon to ripen slowly, making the wine feel “alive”, with a crunchy sensation, flavours of black plum, blackcurrant and blueberry and a peppery finish.
