2021 Ochota Barrels “Where's the Pope?” Syrah

Ochota Barrels chose McLaren Vale grapes to make this pretty Syrah wine. These grapes grow in schist soil, which gives the grapes intense fruit flavours and fine tannins.

Bright and opulent on the nose with aromas of lavender, dark plum, black berries, black cherries, dried herbs and spicy notes, with smooth, ripe tannins, lively acidity and a persistent savoury finish.
