2010 Campi di Fonterenza Brunello di Montalcino DOCG

Brunello is one of the most popular and prestigious wines of Italy, made from Sangiovese grapes. This wine has been aged charmingly and gracefully for the last 12 years, and now displays complexity and flavour from the combination of soil, climate and the patience to give ittime to mature, both in the barrel and then in the bottle.

 The 2010 vintage was one of the most remarkable vintages, the grapes were excellent everywhere in Montalcino. This is a powerful wine, with smoke andspicy notes complemented with pungent dried herbal notes, dried violet and earthy flavours, sandy texturedtannins, and a persistent finish. A great wine that combines freshness, structure, opulence and balance.
