There’s something to be said for Margaret River Chenin Blanc, with Rhys and Emma Parker of Vallee du Venom leading the way in the bright textural examples making their way over from the west coast.

Vallee are nailing it with their small-batch approach – only 440 bottles were made this vintage. White stonefruit flavours and notes of crisp green apples and pears dominate the nose and are fleshed out on the palate with a little delicate texture
